How Much Does Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Cost?
The Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition carries an official price of $69.99 on the US PlayStation Store. This single purchase bundles the complete Ghost of Yotei experience into one package, launching worldwide on October 1, 2026, with October 2, 2026 availability in parts of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Here is the core pricing breakdown:
| Item | Region/Platform | Price | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition | US PlayStation Store (PS5) | $69.99 | Oct 1, 2026 |
| Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition | Asia/Australia/NZ (PS5) | Regional pricing applies | Oct 2, 2026 |
| Complete Edition Upgrade (existing owners) | PS5 | Paid upgrade, price varies by region | Oct 1, 2026 |
| October 2026 Free Update | All owners | Free | Patch 2.0, Oct 1–2, 2026 |
The $69.99 figure is the confirmed US price. Prices in Europe, Japan, and other regions follow local PlayStation Store pricing, and tax-inclusive markets may show higher checkout totals. Always confirm the final price on your regional PlayStation Store page before purchasing.
Because the Complete Edition combines the base game with paid post-launch content, the real question for most players is not just the sticker price but whether the bundle is worth it compared to buying, upgrading, or simply updating what they already own.
What Your $69.99 Gets You
The Complete Edition is positioned as the definitive one-purchase version of Ghost of Yotei. The package includes the full base game plus every major addition released through October 2026.
Echoes of Sekigahara
- Narrative expansion
- New Ashoro Foothills region
- Heavy weapons, Mythic Tales, abilities, armor
- Included in the bundle
Most Wanted
- Single-player survival mode
- Roguelike bounty runs
- 4 playable characters: Atsu, Oyuki, Nagato, Jin Sakai
- Perk and Ultimate systems
Legends & Deluxe Extras
- Legends co-op mode
- 4 classes: Samurai, Archer, Mercenary, Shinobi
- Digital Deluxe cosmetic content
- Included at no extra cost
If you were to buy the base game, the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion, Most Wanted, and Deluxe content separately, the total would exceed the single $69.99 Complete Edition price. For anyone who does not yet own Ghost of Yotei, the Complete Edition is the most direct route to every piece of content.
For a detailed breakdown of which additions are bundled versus delivered through the free update, see the official PlayStation Blog Complete Edition announcement and the PlayStation Store page.
Complete Edition vs Upgrade vs Free Update
The October 2026 launch splits new content across three access paths, and understanding this split is the key to not overspending. Use this comparison before you buy:
| Content | Complete Edition ($69.99) | Complete Edition Upgrade (paid) | Free October 2026 Update |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base game | Included | Not required | Already owned |
| Echoes of Sekigahara | Included | Included | Not included |
| Most Wanted mode | Included | Included | Not included |
| Digital Deluxe content | Included | Included | Not included |
| Photo Mode additions | Available | Not the only path | Included |
| Beauty of Yotei mode | Available | Not required | Included |
| Additional Trophies | Available | Paid-content trophies | Free-content trophies |
- New players: Buy the Complete Edition at $69.99 — it contains everything.
- Original owners wanting Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted: The paid Complete Edition Upgrade is the cheaper path.
- Original owners wanting only Photo Mode and Beauty of Yotei: The free October 2026 update delivers these at no cost.
Purchase Decision: Step-by-Step
Check What You Already Own
Review your game library and owned add-ons. If you already hold the base game plus Deluxe content, the Upgrade path will almost always cost less than the full Complete Edition.
Install the Free October 2026 Update First
Download Patch 2.0 before spending anything. It delivers Photo Mode additions, Beauty of Yotei mode, and associated free Trophies at zero cost.
Compare the Upgrade Price on Your Store Page
Open the Complete Edition Upgrade listing on your regional PlayStation Store. Upgrade pricing varies by region, so verify the local figure rather than assuming the US price.
Decide If the Paid Content Matters to You
Echoes of Sekigahara suits players who want more story and heavy weapons; Most Wanted suits players who want replayable roguelike survival with four characters. Want both? The upgrade or Complete Edition is justified.
Purchase and Verify Content Access
After purchase, confirm that Echoes of Sekigahara, Most Wanted, Legends, and Deluxe items all appear in your content list, then begin the Ashoro Foothills or your first Most Wanted bounty run.
Players in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand gain access to the new content on October 2, 2026, one day after the global October 1 launch. If your store still shows the old listing on launch day, check again the following day.
Pre-Purchase Checklist
Before You Buy the Complete Edition:

- Install the free October 2026 update (Patch 2.0) first
- Check your regional PlayStation Store for local pricing
- Decide whether Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted matter to you
- Verify the Complete Edition Upgrade price as an existing owner
