Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Discount Overview
The Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition arrived globally on October 1, 2026 (October 2 in parts of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand), so discount opportunities are naturally limited in the launch window. The US PlayStation Store lists the package at $69.99, which covers the base game, the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion, the Most Wanted single-player survival mode, Legends multiplayer, and several Digital Deluxe bonuses.
Because this is a first-party PlayStation title, meaningful price drops typically follow predictable cycles rather than appearing immediately. Understanding those cycles helps you decide whether to buy now or wait.
At the time of writing (October 2026), no official Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition discount has been announced. Any website claiming a deep launch-day markdown should be treated with caution — always verify prices on the official PlayStation Store page before purchasing.
What You Get at Full Price:
| Content | Included in Complete Edition | Standalone Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Ghost of Yotei base game | Yes | Sold separately |
| Echoes of Sekigahara expansion | Yes | Paid expansion |
| Most Wanted survival mode | Yes | Paid additional content |
| Legends multiplayer | Yes | Included with base game |
| Digital Deluxe cosmetics | Yes | Deluxe edition only |
If you already own the base game, run the numbers: the Complete Edition Upgrade is usually far cheaper than the full Complete Edition and delivers the same paid additions (Echoes of Sekigahara, Most Wanted, and Deluxe extras).
Edition and Upgrade Price Comparison
The most common money-saving path is not a traditional discount — it is choosing the right edition for your situation. Sony structured the October 2026 release so that existing owners and new buyers pay very different amounts for the same content.
| Buyer Situation | Best Option | Typical Cost Level |
|---|---|---|
| New player, no Ghost of Yotei | Full Complete Edition | Standard full price ($69.99 US) |
| Own base game only | Complete Edition Upgrade | Lower than full edition |
| Own Digital Deluxe | Complete Edition Upgrade | Lower, some overlap possible |
| Want free additions only | Free October 2026 update | No cost |

When Do Discounts Usually Appear

| Sales Window | Typical Discount Range | Likelihood |
|---|---|---|
| Launch month (October 2026) | Rarely discounted | Low |
| Holiday season (Nov–Dec 2026) | Modest markdowns possible | Medium |

| Anniversary / summer 2027 | Deeper cuts possible | High |
Use the PlayStation Store wishlist to track the Complete Edition and the Upgrade separately. Wishlist items notify you the moment either product receives a markdown, so you never miss a short Flash Sale window.
Check the Official Store Page
Open the PlayStation Store Complete Edition page and confirm current pricing in your region, since launch dates and prices differ between the US and Asian stores.
Wishlist Both Products
Add both the full Complete Edition and the Complete Edition Upgrade to your wishlist so sale notifications cover both paths.
Verify Ownership Benefits
If you own the base game, check your library or the store page for the discounted Upgrade price before considering the full package.
Wait for a Sales Window
If you are not in a hurry, hold off until the holiday 2026 or spring 2027 PlayStation sales, when first-party markdowns historically appear.
Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition is a PlayStation first-party release. Unsuspecting buyers should avoid unverifiable key-reseller listings offering implausible launch discounts, as these carry account and redemption risks.
